The illusion of Time

I think one of the most interesting things about time is that it is constantly moving, it never stops or pauses for anyone.

I have had illusions of a pause during moments where I’ve been privileged to spend time with a person or with people I love and care about, but it’s a bit of a dilemma because – when you’re with them it feels like time stands still and you’re so lost in the moment but then you suddenly realise that it’s been 4 hours already, the sun has set, the birds are returning home and the crickets are starting to sing their ridiculous melody.

Time is an illusion when the heart wants it to be.
